England out of Europe, twice in a week.
28th June 2016
England a democratic country voted to come out of Europe
and then England went out of the Euros Football tournament
to the lowly seeded ,Iceland.
David Cameron resigned as Prime minister
and the opposition party, Labour,
voted not to support their leader.
The British Pound reached it's lowest against the Dollar
for over 30 years and the pound lost over 10% against the Euro.
Shares plummeted and
Mr Trump from the US came to visit us and said
"congratulations you have got your country back"
So that was the week that was.
This is my 52 year I have been in the Antique Trade
and my business has rode through 3 rescissions,
and when I opened my first showroom in the US in 1976
they too where in recession,
So that makes 4 rescissions.
Some experts are predicting another rescission now for England
as we are out of Europe.
So this how the ANTIQUESMAN is approaching the unsertanty
of the next few years.
Antiques is something we all love
and over the years it has proved a good investment.
With coming out of Europe
my concentration is back on on the North American Market.
With the Pound at such a low,
it makes Exports 20% lower
and with the refund of 20% VAT
to the exporter buyer,
it makes Antiques to the American or Canadian 40% cheaper this week.
John Nolan the ANTIQUESMAN is throwing in 10% my self
this means a 50% saving to the antique dealer from the States.
So past friends and customers from Savannah, Charleston, Atlanta, Raleigih,
Virginia and the rest of the east coast,
friends in the mid west and California, Toronto and Vancouver
now can order a 40ft container at a cost of $40,000
and receive $80,000 worth of Antiques, Bric-a-brac
Forget what Mr Trump says,
" you have your country back".............
hear is a chance for you to get many pieces back,
many pieces of beautiful Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and
Elizabethan furniture, antique and vintage china, pottery,
architectural and collectables and bric-a-brac etc.
Our heritage is for sale, I know you will look after it for us.
John Nolan
Now you have a friend in the antique trade.
